A Thanksgiving to Remember
Oftentimes in the history of Franklin Township, a community known
for its caring nature has responded to various needs presented by
churches and organizations fronting highly worthwhile projects.
Once again, the entire community – representing businesses, schools,
churches, youth groups and individuals alike – has responded with arms
willingly extended. Collectively, so to speak, the volunteer outpouring
has been highly successful in satisfying a special need during a
national holiday period established specifically for being appreciative
and grateful – one that is celebrated traditionally with remembrances of
Pilgrims, pumpkins and turkeys. A true Thanksgiving bounty!

2006 Turkey Drive Thru
A special thanks to everyone that donated time and resources to make this Holiday season brighter for 151 families.
Total donations for the Turkey Drive Thru was $5,084.40.
2006 was very busy for Servant's Heart.
For the year 2006,
Servant's Heart served 700 client families—with 381 new families.
The number of visits to the pantry by these families were 1464.
Because of reductions in the area served the number of families
decreased from 2005. For the year 2005, we helped 750 client
families—with 460 new and 1654 total visits.
Please be praying for our organization as
we are looking to add to our Board Member staff. We have put together
Board Member criteria and have had several nominations
we feel would be
an asset to our organization.   We are also looking to move into a
larger building. We have looked at a few, but haven't found that
one that will be our new home. Continue to pray that God will lead
us to the right area and that the finances will be provided. This
fall we will again be applying for several grants. These are
critical in supporting the pantry. Again, please pray that these
requests will be granted.
